Tyllwyd cottage is a delightful 150 year old stone cottage,set in 38 acres, offering quality accommodation, in a peaceful tranquil area. The cottage has been lovingly renovated to provide modern and comfortable accomodation, yet still retains its original charm and character. The cottage is situated in a picturesque valley at the edge of Brechfa Forest, two miles from the village of Brechfa with shop, post office and pub and eight miles from Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales. The forest has abundant opportunities for walking, mountain biking , horse riding and bird watching.There are lockable storage facilities for bikes. There are also several fishing lakes to be found within the vicinity as well as many rivers. Fantastic beaches are withing 40 minutes drive.
The property has stables and paddocks, so can offer horse holidays. There are two pet sheep , George ,Mildred and a miniature horse called Rambo and a beautiful Hannoverian called Roxi. There are also three hens providing lovely fresh eggs.
A babysitting service is available by arrangement. Meals can be provided at extra costs. Short breaks and weekends available off- peak season. Also bed and breakfast.
